From the task log:

Unknown err: DOMDocument::load(): PCDATA invalid Char value 12 in /22/items/tth_101213/tth_101213_meta.xml, line: 12 [/usr/local/petabox/www/common/ItemXML.inc:307]

I found an invisible ascii control character in my otherwise plain text. I think it's a form feed, but it just shows as a square box in the text... It only showed up when I stripped the whitespace from the text and added BR / carriage returns instead of keystroke [Returns].

C'mon people... some error trapping here. The text handling routine your system uses butchered my text over ONE control character and instead of stripping that ONE character, stripped every html bracket from that point on through multiple page fields.

No problem... I'm just glad I noted that hidden character in my plain text file or it would have been an ongoing nightmare. The problem shouldn't recur for me now, and at least I'll have some 'body of knowledge' regarding troubleshooting it if it occurs again.
